62、Promote Social Responsibilities and Social Orders, There Will Be More Happiness in This Country

Tao Te Ching: Chapter 65

‘Tao’ is not to teach people the way to be slippery and to escape the duty of society but to teach the citizen being simple, assuming social responsibilities and maintaining social orders.

The reason why people are difficult to be governed is that they have too much scheming. They escape social responsibilities and social orders.

Thus, if a country is governed by people who are opportunistic and who despite social responsibilities and social orders, there will be more shysters.

Conversely, if a country is governed by people who promote social responsibilities and social orders, there will be more happiness in this country.

To realise differences between two ways of governance is to understand laws in the state. If you obey this rule in any time, you will have deep ‘Xuan De’ and make contributions. ‘Xuan De’ is so profound that it is beyond our cognitive range. And if we perform as this law, we will build a flourish and stable society.

This paragraph seems like ‘obscurantist policy’.

And it may be unanimously condemned by ancient scholars because they think it is against ‘democracy, freedom, and human rights’ and is a kind of feudal reactionary culture.

In fact, ‘Tao Te Ching’ has anticipated the result that people could not understand the meaning. So it illustrated the words ahead.

Tao Te Ching: Chapter 41

The vulgar will laugh out loud when they heard truth. They are tend to laugh at truth and regard it as a nonsense or daydream. From that, if truth is not laughed by the fool, it cannot be called ‘Tao’.

That is to say, the more derision ‘Tao’ suffers, the more noble it is, and the sillier the fool is.

According to common understanding at present, to maintain individual human rights, interests, and freedom, and to concern and to maximise personal interests are ‘Ming’.

On the contrary, to promote social responsibility, national and collective interests, and social order rather than promoting individual interests, to live for justice and dedication rather than living for himself are ‘Yu’ because their own interests are harmed.

If we have made the concept of ‘Ming’ and ‘Yu’ clear, we will understand the whole text, even the whole ‘Tao Te Ching’.

God had dropped people that ‘human rights, democracy, and freedom’ were the sources of chaos by ‘Tao Te Ching’. Western countries were ‘whore’ which recorded in the Bible and who committed adultery with devils.

1. Some politicians suggest that Japanese women should have more babies these days but are unanimously condemned by the democratic people, which fully explains the problem.

Japan is suffering a serious aging problem. Japan’s economic decline and depression are closely related with its aging issues. However, when this important situation which will influence the future of Japan was proposed, the statesman was unanimously condemned by the democratic people and had to apologise.

It shows that Japan is an irremediable and fading country. It not merely occurs in Japan but in most of Western countries. Aging issues equal to democratic dilemma. There are no such problems in non-democratic countries.

2. And similar issue, gun control, happens in the US as well, a lot of Americans have put forward the motion of gun control but are severely resisted by democratic society and its system, which causes a disorder and chaos.

These two examples have clearly shown that democratic society fully overthrows social management and harms social orders of rationality, priority, necessity, and seriousness. Emphasising the primacy and uniqueness of human rights may be regarded as ‘Zhi’. However, it is ‘Zhi’ that causes the horrible disaster.

If someone governs the country with democracy, he will be the biggest traitor of this country.

Only when the country is governed by ‘fool’, namely, ‘We should promote social responsibility, national and collective interests and social order rather than promoting individual interests. We should live for justice and dedication rather than living for himself’, can the residents obtain true happiness.

The so-called ‘fool’ is based on the ‘Tao’ in a country. That is, only if a scientific socialism or State capitalism is fully realised in this country, will the ‘fool’, namely, ‘We should promote social responsibility, national and collective interests and social order rather than promoting individual interests. We should live for justice and dedication rather than living for himself’, be advocated.

On the contrary, if a country does not have ‘Tao’, in that case, to promote ‘democracy, freedom, and human rights’ may become an expediency and ‘not so bad’ choice. Sometimes, developing ‘scientific socialism’ or ‘scientific state capitalism’ may be more civilised than developing feudalism when there are few choices.

To govern a country with a ‘fool’ is to advocate a country with spirit of civilisation.

In my point of view, the biggest ‘fool’ is Buddhism. Countries whose believes are Buddhism, in fact, they are ruled by a ‘fool’.

And the biggest ‘fool’ of Buddhism is ‘feeding eagles with the flesh of Buddha’. However, if all the residents feed eagles with their flesh, it is unlikely to realise national governance.

Spiritual civilisation is established on the basis of the material guarantee, on the social fairness and justice and on the national and social science management. A cult should not to be defined as a religion which purely promotes spiritual civilisation and ignores material civilisation.

Only if as follows:

1. Taking public ownership of God’s wealth as a social framework and basic material guarantee.

2. Developing material possessions of individuals on the basis of democracy and freedom of human rights.

3. Taking ‘to promote social responsibility, national and collective interests and social order rather than promoting individual interests. To live for justice and dedication rather than living for himself’ as spiritual motivation. Promoting spiritual civilisation, enhancing personal practice and soul the soul.

Can a state be thriving and prosperous, which is ‘Tao’ proposed by ‘Tao Te Ching’. It is direction of God.
