90、State Capitalism Injects Power to People with Kindness, Tendency, and Justice
25 November 2013
The saying that ‘kindness and justice inject power to people with kindness tendency and justice’ has been familiar to us. In addition, it seems that the governors of all dynasties used the sentence to describe themselves. They all claimed that they were upholding the justice and they themselves represented justice.
Why did they say that? It was because that their governance became legal, at least theoretically legal, only after they had said that. At least all the others believed that was right and wouldn’t oppose or resist at once.
It can be said that all the governors at all times in all over the world said so to maintain their leadership.
Some of them were absolutely cheating others, lying to maintain their leadership just as Hitler’s and Lin Biao’s saying that ‘no great things can be done without lying’ and ‘lies become truth after being repeated for 10,000 times’.
Some of them intended to maintain the justice and do something good at the beginning. However, various factors changed the results and they gradually got used to that.
I believe most of the governors belong to the latter. With good starting points, they originally intended to do something good. However, the results turned to be bad somehow. A person’s power is limited. Sometimes, he or she has to compromise to the evil force.
What’s the reason for that? It’s the Taoism and methodology proposed by Chinese philosopher Lao-Tzu.
Governors without the principles of truth and right will only become fatuous rulers. People without correct means can only do poor things regardless of their good starting points. No other choices are available.
What I have said can be found in Lao Tze’s Tao Te Ching. I repeated it again today.
Though I’ve said and written so much, I only want to express one thing:
Inject power to people with justice and kindness tendency through state capitalism (public ownership), enable them to do things well, enable the public to enjoy good days, and allow the country, people, and even the entire world and universe to run normally and harmoniously.
What is justice?
Justice is not fixed and unchanged. So does the governance of a country.
Such as China, the country’s policies have been adjusted since the leadership of Chairman Mao.
Not all the policies are correct or incorrect. Different things should be done at different times. That is to say, reform is endless. We should keep deepening the reform.
This is like cooking. Sometimes, we need to add salt, sometimes we need to add sugar, and sometimes we need to add water, big fire or small fire.
What is unchanged? The ‘Three Represents’ is unchanged. The party should always represent the development needs of China’s advanced social productive forces, always represent the onward direction of China’s advanced culture, and always represent the fundamental.
The ‘Three Represents’ should not be said only. It should be put into practice. Otherwise, it will become evil instead of justice.
